R0933 Assignment Definition

To unlock the .300 Knockout in Battlefield Hardline's Multiplayer mode you must complete two syndicate assignments. Before those assignments can be even started, a pre-requisite must be met. Below are the pre-requirements and the award requirements for each assignment, along with a few tips and tricks on how to complete them.

  • Professional Assignment 2
  • 10 Professional specific guns and/or gadgets purchased
  • Unlock Professional Gold Service Star 1

The Professional Assignment 2 unlocks the MAC-10. You can read more about that at How to Unlock the MAC-10.

Purchase ten weapons specific to the Professional class. See the Professional class page for a list of all weapons and gadgets available in that class.

Unlock the Professional Gold Service Star. Gold Service Stars are awarded for playing as a specific class, and earning a set amount of points. After earning 10 Bronze and 10 Silver Stars, you will earn the first Gold Service Star.

To get this quickly, play as a Professional in the Hotwire game mode. That's the quickest way to earn cash. See also: How to Earn Cash Fast.

  • 200 Sniper Rifle kills
  • Unlock the Professional's tier 4 Reputation track in 10 matches
  • 15 Camera Coins
  • 15 Marksman Coins

Score 200 kills with any Sniper Rifles. This can be done on any game mode. If you're having trouble with bolt action rifles, switch up to semi auto sniper rifles and remove the optic.

Earn the Professional's Tier 4 Reputation Track in 10 different matches. The easiest way to do this is add a Reputation Boost to the Professional class while playing Hotwire. After that, keep playing towards the objective. The reputation tracks will eventually fill up as you earn more points. If you die while filling up a rep track it will reset but already filled rep tracks will stay.

Earn 15 Camera Coins. To get a Camera Coin, the Camera must spot 2 enemies, then they must be killed by a teammate. This must be done in a single game.

The camera can be purchased for $6,000. Set it up near a heavily populated area, or an objective point, and make sure the front is pointing towards the enemies. It will automatically spot all enemies near it for the rest of your team. Get a total of fifteen Camera coins for this assignment.

Earn 15 Marksman Coins. To get a Marksman coin, you must perform a headshot from a distance of 250 meters or more. It's best to play on big, open maps. Perch yourself up on high points. Playing Conquest large is usually a good idea.

For the similar carbine featured in Battlefield: Vietnam, see CAR-15

The M4 is a firearm tracing its origins to a variant of the CAR-15 which is based on the M16 and all based on the original AR-15 made by ArmaLite. It is a shorter and lighter version of the M16A2, with 80% parts commonality with the M16A2. The M4A1 has selective fire options including semi-automatic and full-auto. It fires the 5.56x45mm NATO round, and is suitable for C.Q.C. Although the M4 has a shorter effective range than the longer M16, many military analysts consider engagement with a non-specialized small arm above a range of 300 meters (330 yd) to be unnecessary. It is effective at ranges of 150 meters (160 yd) or less and has a maximum effective range of about 500 to 600 meters (550–660 yd).

"The M4 is a lightweight version of the M16 and fires the same type of ammunition. It has similar handling and accuracy but does less damage. It comes equipped with a red-dot scope."

— In-game description

The M4 is the standard primary weapon in Battlefield 2 and is issued to the USMC'sSpecial Forces kit. The M4 possesses a Red Dot Sight. It is statistically very similar to the other carbines, with a higher recoil than, but identical spread and damage to, the G36C, yet less damage than the AK-74u.

The Colt M4 Carbine is a weapon featured in Battlefield 2: Modern Combat.

SingleplayerEdit

The M4 Carbine is issued to NATO assault-class soldiers during Radio Silence. It has a moderate rate of fire, a 30 round magazine, high damage and good accuracy.

It can kill in a single head shot and is effective as a sharpshooting weapon with its magnified M68 Aimpoint sight. It also has an M203 attached to it, though it is unusable until you unlock it. Blind firing for head shots and the grenade launcher can easily dispose of a large amount of enemies.

MultiplayerEdit

The M4 Carbine is issued to the USMC Assault kit and can be used similarly to how it's used in singleplayer.
